    The story begins in the fall of 2019. Several college graduates went south to Shenzhen to start their careers. The members met for the first time in a rehearsal room in a humid and sultry residential garage near Taoyuan Metro Station in Nanshan District. It was fifteen o'clock in the afternoon - hence the band's name "TAOYUANXVDIAN (Taoyuan 3pm)".

    After two years of establishment, the first album "Another Emotional Machine" finally got its wish, and all tracks were recorded from April to June 2022.

    This is a conceptual album. "Another Emotional Machine" completely records the twist and discomfort of the band members when they first entered society. This is not the band's intention, but a natural result. The album reveals their desire to reconcile with themselves and the world, but can't find or see who their enemy is. It's a pity that these are such absurd times, and young people living in this are not even prepared for it.

    The opening song "It's a Period" is actually the album's final song, with four lines of lyrics that lead the album over a decade. Whether it's Midwest Emo, Indie or Math Rock, it's hard to describe TAOYUANXVDIAN and this album. I'm sorry that after 42 minutes that ended with the alarm sounding, we still haven't told you where the exit is. Maybe stick to what you think is right in your heart, such as writing every song, compiling every sound, and getting ready to go out for the first round of tour, this is the first answer sheet from the band. Listen to the song quietly - Life is so long, the show goes on.
